Urban mining refers to extracting reusable resources from waste household appliances, electronic waste and industrial solid waste. In 2025, China’s urban mining recycling volume reached 380 million tons.

The recycling volume of end-of-life vehicles increased by 24.5% year-on-year, and the processing capacity of waste electrical and electronic equipment exceeded 12 million tons. A large amount of plastic and metal materials are separated for secondary utilization.

After dismantling and sorting, loose waste paper and plastic are compressed by waste paper baler to improve resource utilization and reduce landfill pressure.
